Our Family Farm
Welcome to Butler Farms located in the serene rural landscape of Caswell County, North Carolina. Nestled on our 160 picturesque acres, you'll find a tranquil retreat surrounded by natural beauty. Our venue boasts two ponds complete with a floating dock, offering an idyllic backdrop perfect for moments of relaxation and capturing exquisite bridal portraits.
Despite its tranquil, rural setting, our farm is conveniently close to Burlington, Greensboro, and Raleigh, NC. Experience the best of both worlds with the peaceful countryside and the accessibility to city amenities. Come and capture the essence of nature on our beautiful farm.
With the possibility of capturing perfect photos in fields of sunflowers, cotton, or corn, our farm is a photographer’s dream. Depending on the time of year, you might encounter a variety of wildlife, including deer, turkeys, foxes, rabbits, and coyotes, enhancing the natural beauty of our farm.

Rustic Creations
We started our journey in the wedding industry crafting customized pieces such as our signature bar cart and elegant benches. Over time, our offerings expanded to encompass everything essential for brides looking to transform a blank canvas or elevate an existing venue space. For six years, we traveled extensively, personally setting up these unique creations that brides could rent to make their wedding day truly unforgettable.

Ideas sparked
Now that both children were settled on the farm, Sam and Joan made the decision to bring their show home and construct their own venue from the ground up. Countless hours of planning and careful consideration were dedicated to designing a space that would seamlessly accommodate each event. With the invaluable support of family and friends, Rustic Destination at Butler Farms came to fruition.

Construction began
We broke ground in September 2022 and construction progressed in carefully planned phases. Phase 1 saw the completion of the main building, two sheds, and the bridal and groom's suites. In Phase 2, the balcony was finished. Countless memorable nights and early mornings were devoted to staining wood and tackling meticulous tasks. Notably, the assembly line production of the wooden tables, crafted by Sam with the assistance of family and friends, showcases our dedication.

The first wedding
Our first wedding took place on August 26, 2023. While the interior was still undergoing completion, the reception area, bridal suite, and groom suite were ready! Between weddings, construction efforts persisted, allowing us to add finishing touches and refine details. Rustic Destination remains committed to ongoing improvements as ideas flourish, we add new features. The venue evolves with each passing day with plans for future projects.
